When you return from your fun and sun time at the beach, you can appreciate rinse off in your cool outdoor shower area and enjoy the warm breeze. After a refresh, have a family BBQ and enjoy the late afternoon. After you eat and talk about your day, listen to the ocean waves with mood lighting over and around your sitting area outdoors. This would be my ideal first day.This bungalow has a laid back, friendly & family safe ambiance at my end of the Beach, but you are also close to the action. This unit is a fresh open concept, with tasteful beach décor, a sizable L-shaped comfortable couch, and another couch in the "sunroom" area for additional seating. The Den has a 65" TV with a wall fireplace, and all the amenities you will need: i.e. high-speed internet, New HVAC- heat/AC, washer/dryer, linens, soaps, body wash/shampoo/conditioner, well supplied kitchen and dinning area. All three beds are so comfortable you may not want to get out of bed, but If you are an early riser, make a pot or pod of coffee and sit on the front deck or go to the beach and watch a charming sunrise every morning.You are only 3 blocks from the North End Pier & Grille & 1 mile to the historic Carolina Beach Boardwalk. We’ve got tommy bahama back strap chairs, body boards, skimming boards, umbrella, tent & sand anchor, sand buckets & more sand toys than we can count. If you (or the kids) get a little tired of the sand, there’s a ideal spot poolside for you at our buildings private pool. You will probably feel like you have the pool to yourself because there are only 15 condos that share it. Many guests tell us that they were the only ones in the pool. Our second outdoor balcony space has plenty of room to sit and overlook the kids in the pool or just watch a sunset facing West. The pool is strategically placed on the West side, so that any pool activity or noise doesn’t interrupt your peaceful deck-side enjoyment of the calming ocean sounds like oceanfront pools do. We are two artists from NYC fell in adore with Sunset Beach. Ample outdoor space and comfortable rooms decorated with richly pigmented artworks with a mix of antique and modern furnishings (my travels near and far) inside/outside are reminiscent of a bygone era. Also offering the camaraderie of outdoor activities with the ability to getaway to your own. This vintage trailer home dating back to 1930 has been completely restored and refreshed to form a unique space for gatherings, celebrations, and collaborations.During the season(May-September), both Sunset Beach and Ocean Isle Beach are visited by beach lovers from all over the world. There are few businesses that are seasonal but most businesses are open year around. My all-time favorite breakfast place is Big Nells. You can work up a zesty appetite after visiting the bird sanctuary or a trip to the USS North Carolina. Maybe Ingram Planetarium. Lunch or dinner is always in the city of Calabash ( Seafood Hut, Oyster Rock) or downtown Shallotte(Zaxby). The southern food is at its best in North Carolina. If you wish you can visit Holden Brothers farm market for hand made fruit jam or pies. Grocery stores big and modest are near by.
