Prepare to be very surprised with how comfortable and convenient Fish Tale is for your vacation. The view is spectacular, the floor plan is open and comfortable, and unlike many homes along the beach we are only steps from the nearest beach access so no driving needed!
Fish Tale is the home on Bald Head that you will rent year after year. Just ask our guests! Walk through the front door, take in the sweeping vistas of the Atlantic from nearly every window, and relax instantly on the giant couch in the wide open floor plan. You will soon be sharing your own 'Fish Tales' with friends about your adventures on Bald Head Island.

This home is ideal for two-three families or 3 couples, with 2 master suites (king beds), a queen bedroom, and a bunk room with full twin bunk beds, constructed in bunk beds suitable for teens and younger (not rather twin size bed) and full size crib.
Dining in? No problem! The kitchen is very well outfitted (many families say they will always rent for Thanksgiving due to many pots, pans, appliances, serving ware, etc). Add to that a sizable round dining table that conveniently seats up to 10 with spectacular vistas of the ocean!
The open floor plan with a soaring ceiling makes living in Fish Tale most delightful. The living area is open to the kitchen, dining area, and sunroom. Although it is open, the bedrooms are tucked privately off the open living area. There are also multiple sitting areas to read, puzzle, appreciate coffee, or just admire the view. The most fashionable places to relax however, are the sunroom to view the sunrise and the deck to soak in the sunset. Just elegant!
Fish Tale really has something for everybody. We provide high speed wireless internet and DVR service on the TV. So you can head to the beach but not miss your game, favorite show, or golf match. Although this is not a new home, it sure has fun, refreshed furnishings and linens. All guests comment on the comfortable and high quality beds, pillows, and linens.
We are extremely kid and beach friendly! Home includes a high chair, booster chair, 2 full cribs, pack and play, toys, books, and beach and pool toys and floats/boards. You will savor the quality beach chairs, beach towels, beach bags, and private outdoor shower. Our goal is to be sure all amenities are in working order and ready for you! We provide access to one double kayak as well. Let the exploring begin!!
Fish Tale is conveniently located on South Beach just steps from a beach access. We are close to the Bald Head Island Club, the Maritime Market. Two 4-seater golf carts are available for your use.
Access to the BHI club is available with separate purchase directly through the club.

Getting the most from your vacation rental budget:

  • Property managers typically offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection.
