How to book the best rental home experience:

When to book a Brunswick area rental & When to go:

  • Summer is high season in the Brunswick area area. To find the largest rental within your budget, we suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular attractions and restaurants.
  • The earlier your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation rental up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local Brunswick area area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great information, visitor guide magazines contain discounts for local tours, shops, and attractions.

Filter your search:

  • Select your vacation week and max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration you need. Private Room (#1 of 2) 0.8 mile walk to Beach, Boardwalk, Restaurants & Bars. has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally available on booking websites. If not, email or call the property owner before booking your rental. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to work out what is optimal for your vacation group.
  • If there's a specific Brunswick area attraction you simply love, keep an eye out for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • Some rentals allow pets, but some do not. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the owner about pet restrictions before booking.

More tips for your visit:

  • Put the host's contact information in your smartphone.
  • To make certain damages are not attributed to your family's stay, record any problem areas upon your arrival. Call the rental manager immediately to relay any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a great source for finding the best local spots.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Lock your rental home while you are out and about. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected everything. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property a final time and scan for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take photos and video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a wonderful time? Many rental home management companies make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
