As the name would suggest, Hang Ten Grill is a casual beach joint with a definitive surfer vibe that serves as the perfect hang-out after a long morning or afternoon of riding the waves in Carolina Beach. Located along Carolina Beach’s “main drag,” Lake Park Blvd, and just a couple pf blocks away from the beach, this cool eatery is a great spot to refuel after an active day on the seashore.
The menu is exactly what you’d expect from a good beach grill, and features a solid selection of burgers, sandwiches, greens, starters, seafood, and even all-day breakfast items. Patrons can wash down a beer with a big plate of loaded nachos or a dozen wings drenched in the Hang Ten Signature Hot Sauce, or can enjoy a full meal via a cheesesteak, panini, sandwich, or big burger (there are nearly ten varieties to choose from.) For something more coastal, check out the seafood specialties, which includes a Mahi sandwich, tuna sandwich, and fish, shrimp or clam baskets, or go for the lighter side with a fresh garden, chef, or chicken salad. It's hard to confuse the Old Baldy Lighthouse with the other Carolina lighthouses that guard the Eastern Seaboard. As you pull up, we have plenty of parking and a two car garage that’s got all you need! An additional refrigerator, games, and beach essentials. Then, coming into the home, there are two rooms to the right. One has a queen bed and the other has 2 bunk beds, ideal for the kiddos! Between these two rooms is a full bathroom. As you make your way down the hall you’ll hit the enormous laundry room and flex space! This flex space really is multiple purpose. It has a pull out bed so it can be a 4th bedroom, but is also great for a movie, a little separation for the kids, or game nighttime! Moving to the back of the home you hit the main living area that’s wide open to the kitchen and dinning room. The kitchen is entirely loaded and has a HUGE island!! Right on the other side of the dining table is your access to the back that has a modest table and is FULLY FENCED! Kid and pet friendly! Finally we come to the master suite that is roomy and has a great bathroom and walk-in closet. This really is a great place to savor the NC coast and all the modest towns around it.
