Welcome to Sand Star! If you are looking for luxury and location, don't miss Sand Star! Sand Star offers one of the best locations on the island! Walk to the ferry, West Beach or to the BHI Club. Located only seconds from the marina, Sea Star is a delightful three bedroom luxury property. The broad front porch, both covered and open is the ideal place to savor sunsets, or just relax in one of the rocking chairs. There is also an outside dining area to appreciate an alfresco meal.

Step inside the entryway, and a sizable open floor plan greets you. A huge sectional couch and chairs surround a 60" intelligent tv, and gas fireplace. Its a magnificent living area where guests will enjoy watching a movie or calming by the fire. To the left of the living area is an open kitchen with granite tops, and upgraded appliances, and full kitchen which will satisfy any chef. There is a 6 person kitchen table and bar top seating in the kitchen. A humongous dining room is filled with light, and the ideal spot for a formal dinner. Also on this level is a huge guest room with a Queen bed, this guest room shares a full bath with the downstairs area. A enormous washer and dryer and laundry facility is off the kitchen with an ice maker in this room.

The second level offers 3 rooms. The Master suite offers a King size bed and 50" TV with ample space and sitting area. There is also a balcony off the Master through French doors. The Master bath features twin sink vanities and quartz counter tops with a giant walk-in glass tiled shower with multiple shower heads.

The 3rd guest suite offers a King bed. Also on the 2nd floor is a full office.

Bald Head Island Club and Golf Access is available, please contact the BHI Club to make reservations and payment. Bikes and Umbrellas are not supplied, we recommend renting from Riverside Adventure or Coastal Urge. Beach Chairs are included. Beach towels are supplied, please launder and replace if used.

Get the most from your spending budget:

  • June, July, and August are high season in Bald Head Island. Booking your Brunswick area vacation rental in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes.
  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property managers usually offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.

  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and look for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the host isn't available, take photos and video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
