Hi & Welcome to our gorgeous home away from home in Oak Island NC!!!
Come & Anchor Down to get so much needed calming time, soak up in the Atlantic ocean, savor all the excellent seafood & don't forget the ice cream!!!
Our home is located in a prime location near Middleton Park (appreciate live entertainment spring to fall, food trucks, water pad for kids & of course the beach). It is conveniently located with in less than a mile to grocery stores & many local eateries, shopping as well as access to a public boat ramp. Beach is accessible directly down the street with in 10 min walk or 3-5 min golf cart ride.
About the Area
Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Oak Island Lighthouse and Bald Head Island Lighthouse are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Oak Island Golf Club and The Clubs at St. James. Traveling with kids? Consider Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport.

Getting the most from your vacation rental budget:
- Summer is the most expensive season in Oak Island. To find the most suitable rental home within your budget, we suggest booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Property managers often offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. - Visiting for a specific attraction or event? If so, use a map search to find nearby properties.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are away, just like you would back home.
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the property to make sure you've collected everything. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and scan for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your family have a wonderful time? Many rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
