The Breakaway is a handsome and well maintained home owned for over 23 years by the same owners. Each year it is refreshed and kept in immaculate condition. It is a very short walk to one of the top 20 beaches in the world according to a recent study by National Geographic.
Sunset Beach is a peaceful, family beach great for families and couples. We offer four bedrooms and three bathrooms with an outdoor shower. Our screened in porch offers a view to the ocean as well as our Widow's Watch on the third floor. There is a private balcony off the upstairs master bedroom. Recently added is an outdoor renter's lockout area for your bicycles, golf clubs, beach chairs etc... NEW for 2024 Quartz countertops and tile backsplash with zero radius sink and disposal.

Please note: During the summer months linens, towels, soap and shampoo is NOT supplied due to the fact that we rent both on Vacation Rental By Owner and via a local rental company. In the off season months linens and towels are included with the rental.


About the Area

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Sunset Beach. To find the largest rental for your budget, we suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities.
  • The earlier you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked early. Booking your vacation rental six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
