Located in the Lighthouse Landing Community. With high ceilings, sunny rooms with tall windows and an open floor plan, this home is incredible for entertaining. Substantial dining table plus bar stools will comfortably seat 10 for meals. The entirely outfitted kitchen features brand new KitchenAid stainless steel appliances, new pots/pans, dishes and silverware. Washer and dryer are also new. Freshly painted interior.

The outdoor open deck has a direct walkway to a shared community dock on the Bald Head Creek for fishing and crabbing. Or meander through the maritime forest on one of the four bicycles supplied.

Cavernous master suite with King bed and freshly modernized bath including tile floor, double vanity with vessel sinks and charming soaking tub and a freshly enlarged tile shower with bench. 3 additional guest rooms and two full bathrooms upstairs (2 rooms have queens and the other has a bunk bed with queen on bottom and twin on top). Three flat screen TVs and wireless internet access are included.

Lighthouse Landing, a neighborhood in Bald Head Island, is home to Newly renovated lighthouse landing close to the ferry and island amenities, 2 golf carts.. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James. Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to visit Bald Head Island & When to reserve a rental home:

Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. Reserving a rental home in Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes.
Property management companies sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your group.
Property managers frequently offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
Find a copy of your local Brunswick area visitors guide magazine upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines contain coupons for nearby tours and attractions.

Put the host's information in your smartphone.
Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, television set or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents quite a few concerns.
Lock your rental while you're away. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
Record any damages to the property at check in, and immediately contact the property manager. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be valuable if a dispute is filed.
Respect the neighborhood. Frequently, adjacent homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically help. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
Re-check the property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the manager is not available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent feedback to inspire more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will appreciate that you share your experience find their best vacation rental. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
