Tips to get the best Brunswick area vacation home experience:

Finding your perfect rental:

  • Summertime is high season in the Brunswick area area. Book your Brunswick area rental property in Fall or Spring to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Many rental management companies supply Brunswick area area visitor guides that include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Brunswick area visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Choose a designated group leader, select your vacation dates, and choose a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Beautiful Oceanfront Getaway! has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is often accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, email the property management company before you book your rental. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches.
  • Are you visiting for a specific attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Pet fees or charges might be applied to your agreement.

Have a fantastic stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Save the directions to your phone, and take a printed backup.
  • Make a record of any damages to the rental upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be helpful if there is a dispute.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, stereo or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent quite a few problems.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often an incredible resource to find the best local scenic spots.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are away, just like you would back home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on good ratings to compel future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
