Our top Brunswick area vacation rental tips:

Get the most from your budget:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are high season in Wrightsville Beach. To find the best value, change your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warm weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property managers typically offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local information, travel guides have discounts for local shops and restaurants.

Selecting the best rental home in the Brunswick area area:

  • To start, have your group select a vacation week and a maximum budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your group requires. Convenient 1BR Condo Steps from Johnnie Mercer’s has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Brunswick area vacation rental search.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts is normally available on booking websites. If they are not listed, call the property management company before reserving your home. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you'll need to search for a pet-friendly property. Make sure to ask for information on breed, size, and type requirements. Note that some property managers charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Are you visiting for a specific event? Use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Take a copy of the host's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're away! Don't let thieves spoil your holiday.
  • To make certain that damages aren't attributed to your family's stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas when you arrive. E-mail the property manager right away to report your findings. If there is a dispute, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Be respectful. Frequently, adjacent homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Re-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at departure. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the property a final time and look for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, take photographs of the property to record its condition.
  • Did you have a excellent vacation? Most rental home management companies make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
