Amazing beach home only a short walk from the ocean! A great location at a great North Carolina beach! The neighborhood is beautiful and peaceful and the neighbors are friendly. The beach is elegant and just a straight walk or drive down the road. We can hear the ocean waves at nighttime. Generous front porch with rocking chairs and table. Extensive master bedroom with alluring bath. Coffee ready to go, a library, cable TV in living room. Please note that there is a main road to cross - E. Oak Island Dr. - to get to the beach. It gets busy during rush hour and high season. It’s better to take a right there and then a left on 73rd St. to avoid waiting. Parents will need to accompany kids if walking.

About the Area

Rental home tips and tricks:

Sticking to your spending plan:

  • In the Brunswick area area, The earlier your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are booked very early. Booking your rental property six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
  • Summer time is high season in the Brunswick area area. To get the best value, shift your family's Brunswick area trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer great temperatures, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Some owners offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property managers typically offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Find a copy of your local Brunswick area visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local articles, travel guides have money saving offers on nearby tours and attractions.

Make a plan and pick the best Brunswick area rental home:

  • Begin by selecting your trip dates and a spending budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your family needs. Beautiful Beach Getaway! Walk to Beach! Sleeps 6. has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Brunswick area vacation rental search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is regularly accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, email the host before you reserve your rental. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • Some rentals allow pets, and others don't. Acceptable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the host about allowable breeds and types before booking.
  • If there's an individual Brunswick area destination you are crazy about, browse rentals that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking

Some things to know before you go:

  • Add the host's phone number to your phone. Understand and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or coffee maker. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents a lot of concerns.
  • Lock your rental home while you're away. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • To make certain that damages are not attributed to your family's stay, make a record of any problem areas during check in. message the host immediately to relay any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Often, adjacent homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can often help. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Re-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at departure. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, ensure that you take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on great feedback to compel future reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your experience find their best vacation home. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
