Jones’ Seafood House is a local restaurant in the heart of Oak Island that has been serving vacationers for more than 50 years. Opened in 1964, the exterior and interior still retain their classic beach atmosphere, with lemon yellow and blue décor, wooden beams hanging overhead, and a mixed collection of vintage-feeling and seaworthy décor. The menu is just as classic, with a lot of the seafood staples that beach-goers expect at a southern NC restaurant. Diners can order combo platters of flounder, crab cakes, shrimp, scallops, and deviled crabs, or can try something lighter like a fresh salad or the bacon wrapped scallops. There are also charbroiled steaks and nightly specials, in addition to a senior and kids’ menu for family members of all ages. Approximately 8 min. ride to the Ocean Isle Pier where you will find the beach, community concert/ splash pad park, putt putt and eateries. This is the ideal home for your week of rest and relaxation at the beach!
