Tips and Tricks to get the very best Brunswick area rental experience:

Getting the most from your vacation rental budget:

  • Summertime is high season in Wilmington. Book your vacation in the Fall or Spring to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • In the Brunswick area area, The sooner your group can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your vacation home six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
  • Some hosts offer special rates for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies frequently offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Look for your local Brunswick area visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guides have offers and deals for local shops and restaurants.

Planning and picking a perfect Brunswick area rental:

  • Begin by choosing your a vacation week and a budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the configuration your group requires. Quiet oasis minutes from the beach! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is generally available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property management company before you reserve the vacation home. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to determine what bed configuration is best for your vacation family.
  • If there's a specific Brunswick area destination you are crazy about, browse rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .
  • Some rental properties allow pets, but some don't. Allowable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the host about allowable pet guidelines before booking.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the instructions to your phone.
  • Upon check-in, document any issues with the property and immediately alert the property manager. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often a great source for finding the best local attractions.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're out! Don't let thieves ruin your holiday.
  • Just before checking out, complete a walk-through to confirm you didn't forget any personal items. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, take video of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a terrific time? Most rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
