Tricks and tips to get the best vacation home experience:

How to get the best rental value:

  • Summer is high season in the Brunswick area area. To find the best value, try shifting your group's vacation to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • In the Brunswick area area, The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are reserved very early. Booking your rental property up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Brunswick area area travel guide magazines that include special deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Brunswick area area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Select a designated group leader, select your dates, and choose a budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your group needs. Beautiful 3rd Row home @ Holden ~3 min walk to beach! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Brunswick area rentals search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is commonly accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, call the property management company before booking the vacation home. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to work out what is suitable for your trip.
  • Looking for specific amenities? Most rental websites include search filters with amenity lists.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. .
  • Some rentals allow pets, but others don't. Acceptable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the owner about allowable pet guidelines before booking.

Advice for your stay:

  • Get the host's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your . We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To make certain that damages aren't attributed to your stay, make a record of any problem areas during arrival. E-mail the host right away to document any issues. If there is a dispute, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Respect the neighborhood. Frequently, adjacent homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your rental while you are away. Keep your property safe!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental to make sure you've collected all belongings. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a excellent stay? Many rental management companies make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
