Strategies to get the perfect Holden Beach vacation home experience:
Money saving strategies:
- Summer time is high season in Holden Beach. To book the largest rental for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular attractions and restaurants.
- In the Brunswick area area, The sooner you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked very early. Booking your vacation rental up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
- Some hosts and property managers offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
- Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
- Many management companies supply Brunswick area area visitors guide magazines which will include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Narrow your rental Search:
- Choose your dates and budget.
- Decide how many beds and the configuration you need. Hobbs Realty - Oceanfront Home w\/Private Heated Pool and Offers Earlly Check-In\/Late Check-Out! has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Brunswick area vacation rental search.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, call the host before booking the vacation home. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds and bunks.
- If there's a certain Brunswick area beach you are enamored with, look for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available before booking
- If your family is vacationing with pets, you'll need to search for a rental that allows animals. Request information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Usually, hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
Some things to know before you go:
- Take a copy of the property manager's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your .
- Record any damages to the property at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are valuable if a dispute is filed.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, intercom or washer/dryer. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents quite a few difficulties.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers disrupting your life at home. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and places you would've not otherwise known about!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home when you are out, just like you would back home.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the property one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager is not available, ensure that you take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on good ratings to propel more reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
