Tips to get the best Brunswick area vacation rental experience:
Find your perfect vacation home:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Brunswick area area. To get the best value, try changing your trip dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
- The sooner you can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are booked very early. Reserving your rental home six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
- Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
- Management companies and individual rental owners often offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
- Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Brunswick area area visitor guide magazines which often include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Brunswick area visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Use filters to narrow your search:
- To start, have your family commit to the best dates and a maximum budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Canal Front-Short Walk to Beach!! Great location!! has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
- Precise details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly accessible online. If not, email the property owner before you book the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms.
- Visiting for a single event or attraction? If so, use a map search to find nearby properties.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental
- Some rental properties allow pets, and others don't. Allowable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the host about pet restrictions before booking.
More tips for your visit:
- Put the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- To make certain damages are not attributed to your visit, inspect the property for any problem areas during check in. Make contact with the rental manager right away to document any issues. If there is a dispute, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent quite a few issues.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a terrific resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Lock your rental property while you are out! Don't let burglars ruin your trip.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the property to make sure you've collected all personal items. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did your family have a fantastic vacation? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your rental and/or host was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
