We are a less than a 5-min. walk to the Ocean Grille/Tiki bar which is one very few true ocean front dining/bar options on the island and our personal favorite. **Private Beach Access**Our unit is not adjacent to a public beach access and has its own private access. This typically provides for a much less busy beach area.**Cavernous Ocean Front Deck**We have a 4-person bar height table with comfortable chairs for ocean front dinners, family board games, or just calming to watch the waves. We also have a 2-person surfboard bar which is great for morning coffee or nighttime-time drinks.**Covered Deck**The ocean facing deck on our unit has a roof over it which is a rare find for top floor units. This is crucial after a hot day on the beach or when it is raining and you still want to sit outside and watch the waves.**Abundant Natural Light**Many condos have one sliding door on the front and one window on the back. This unit has an upsized 3 pane sliding door and window on the front with two sliding doors and a window on the back. This provides a tremendous amount of light and makes the place feel very open and airy.**3 Decks**In addition to the oceanfront deck, the unit also has 2 decks on the back. We have a 2nd Crofter with a separate lock out as an optional add-on for bigger groups. With this add-on it is 6.5 bedrooms, sleeps 14 in beds. Ask for details!For those who savor a meal at home, there is plenty of seating for all and our galley-style kitchen is entirely appointed with everything you'll need to make a memorable meal, complete with an unforgetable view. Hop on one of our two new Onward Club Car golf carts, both with high speed motors. (They will go 25+ MPH so please do not exceed the 18MPH BHI speed limit!) We spend time on the beach Every Single Day on BHI, and appreciate the open air golf cart ride there and back immensely BUT we also have the best of both worlds because we come home to the fantastic and ever changing tapestry - that magnificant Creek View. We think of it as an marvelous live painting that changes every day. We enjoy watching Egrets, Ibis and Osprey from inside the home or while sitting in the broad screened porch. We watch our kids fish, crab, cast net, kayak and swim right out front daily. And what a treat to watch our 10 year old son dash straight out to the dock every morning for an hour or more barely remembering the existence of TV or video games. We can walk left on the boardwalk out front and we are at the boat launch in about 2 mins.. Alternately we go the other way on the boardwalk with our first cup of coffee in hand every morning for an gorgeous and inspiring 10 min. creek view board-'walk'. And, with simple access to the floating dock you can bring or rent your boat! Or, enjoy a paddle on the creek by canoe, SUP or kayak, all rentable on island (an absolute favorite activity for our whole family).
