Tricks and tips to get the best Brunswick area vacation home experience:

Sticking to your spending plan:

  • To get the best vacation home for your budget, we suggest reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite Brunswick area restaurants and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • In the Brunswick area area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are reserved early. Reserving your rental property up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • Some hosts offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer renters an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Often, property management companies supply Brunswick area area visitors guide magazines that include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Brunswick area visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Narrow your Search:

  • To start, have your group decide on trip dates and a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. 0801 Seaside Sunrise by Atlantic Towers has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is usually accessible online. If you don't see them listed, contact the property owner before you book the home. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to determine what configuration is right for your family.
  • Does your family require particular amenities? Most websites include search filters for amenities. Use these filters to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, but others don't. Allowable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the owner about allowable breeds and types before booking.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the instructions to your phone.
  • To ensure that damages are not attributed to your family's stay, note any problem areas upon your arrival. Call the property manager immediately to document any damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, television set or appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call prevents a lot of concerns.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant visitors disrupting your peaceful neighborhood. Apply the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and places you would've not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your rental while you're away. Protect your property!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected everything. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, take video of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a great vacation? Many rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
