Big Daddy’s Restaurant is a classic Kure Beach establishment that has been feeding hungry vacationers since 1970. Though the exterior and interior has changed since it first opened to beach patrons, the menu features a number of classic coastal staples, including big combo platters that can include flounder, catfish, Ahi Tuna, oysters, scallops, crab cake, and Mahi. There are also a few more elevated dishes on the menu, including Lobster Mac and Cheese, and Oysters Rockefeller in the appetizers section, as well as some more down-home options, like shrimp and grits, and the big Steam Pot for 2, which includes Alaskan snow crab legs, shrimp, clams, andouille sausage, corn on the cob, and boiled potatoes.
