Tips to get the best Carolina Beach vacation property experience:

Money saving strategies:

  • Summer is the most expensive season along the coast of NC. Booking your Brunswick area vacation home in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes.
  • In the Brunswick area area, The earlier you can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved early. Booking your rental home up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites often offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.
  • Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Brunswick area area travel guide magazines which include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local companies, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Brunswick area area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Planning, picking, and booking your prefectrental:

  • Choose your vacation week and budget.
  • Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. 0705 Palms That Sway by Atlantic Towers has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally available on booking pages. If they are not listed, email the host before you reserve the home. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • Visiting for a single attraction? Try a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • If your group is traveling with pets, you must book a rental that allows animals. Request specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Some property owners charge additional pet fees.

Have a great stay:

  • Store the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To make certain damages are not linked to your family's visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas during check in. Speak to the host immediately to document any damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers disrupting your peaceful home. Practice the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and places you would've never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Lock your rental while you're out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Just prior to departing, complete a walk-through to make sure you haven't forget anything. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a excellent time? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property management company was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
