Mello Yello Sea Casa features an exceptional 2nd row location with wide open vistas of the ocean blue, and it's economical and clean too!  2 enormous bedrooms with two comfortable queen-size beds in each will sleep up to 8 in your event.  Complemented by two full bathrooms and a living area for everybody to sit, eat, watch intelligent TV or play games.  Mello Yello is the traditional beach bungalow with modern touches and beachy décor which will have you in your salt life beach mode the entire time.  But the best part is stepping outside onto your own private sundeck to take in the magnificant vistas, watch the pelicans fly in formation in the wind or shrimp boats hauling in their fresh catch filled nets.  There is nothing like that smell of salty air and sandy beach and Mello Yello puts you right in the center of it all!  Beach access is relatively simple for you and the younger kids in the crew and there is a nice sized space underneath the home for playing games, grilling and listening to music out of the hot sunlight.  What are you waiting for its time to appreciate cold drinks on the outside deck, cast your surf pole for dinner, throw horseshoes or fly kites with the kids because there is always something to do at the beach!  Located close to all of Oak Island’s attractions and a short walk to Ocean Crest Pier while close by Middleton Street offers painless access on and off the island.  Departure maid service is supplied, linen package for an additional fee.  Saturday to Saturday only in Prime/Peak seasons, 3-day min. in all other seasons.  No Smoking or Animals of any kind.   • The sooner you can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved very early. Reserving your rental property six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • Summertime is the most expensive season in the Brunswick area area. To find the best value, consider shifting your vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer great temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Some owners offer rate reductions for veterans. Ask your property manager if discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses.   • Inspect the property a final time and look for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a terrific vacation? Most rental home management companies make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property management company was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
