Mello Yello Sea Casa features an exceptional 2nd row location with wide open vistas of the ocean blue, and it's economical and clean too!  2 sizable bedrooms with two comfortable queen-size beds in each will sleep up to 8 in your event.  Complemented by two full bathrooms and a living area for everybody to sit, eat, watch intelligent TV or play games.  Mello Yello is the traditional beach bungalow with modern touches and beachy décor which will have you in your salt life beach mode the entire time.  But the best part is stepping outside onto your own private sundeck to take in the amazing vistas, watch the pelicans fly in formation in the wind or shrimp boats hauling in their fresh catch filled nets.  There is nothing like that smell of salty air and sandy beach and Mello Yello puts you right in the center of it all!  Beach access is relatively simple for you and the younger kids in the crew and there is a nice sized space underneath the home for playing games, grilling and listening to music out of the hot sunlight.  What are you waiting for its time to appreciate cold drinks on the outside deck, cast your surf pole for dinner, throw horseshoes or fly kites with the kids because there is always something to do at the beach!  Located close to all of Oak Island’s attractions and a short walk to Ocean Crest Pier while close by Middleton Street offers painless access on and off the island.  Departure maid service is included, linen package for an additional fee.  Saturday to Saturday only in Prime/Peak seasons, 3-day min. in all other seasons.  No Smoking or Animals of any kind.   • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To get the best value, change your vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer great temperatures, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic.

Booking your rental property six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses.   • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically help. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your rental property while you're gone! Don't let thieves ruin your trip.
  • Re-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and look for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
