Please note: We only offer Sunday to Sunday reservations in the Summer.

Stay at "American Dreaming" and check off all of your vacation boxes! Sit by the firepit in our fenced backyard and listen to the sounds of the crashing waves, which are 1 block down the street. Head down to the beach during the day and cool off in our private stock tank pool while your kids play ping pong in the gameroom. Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island, is home to this vacation home. Oak Island Lighthouse and Bald Head Island Lighthouse are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Caswell Beach and Bay Beach. Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are also worth visiting.

  • On check-out day, take a final walk-through to make sure you did not leave anything behind. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property a final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a great stay? Most rental websites make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property management company was great, they would love to hear it.
