Our home is ideal for a weekend hideaway to fish or appreciate the beach. This is our home away from home. Both bathrooms were refreshed this year. We also got new furnishings and put a deck on the back of the home.

We are five miles from Holden Beach and our community as a modest fishing spot at the end of the street on the waterway.

There is tons of antiquing and shopping in the area. It is a short drive to Myrtle Beach outlets and Wilmington. It is 45 mins. to Myrtle Beach and 45 mins. to Wilmington. There is a fishing pier at Holden Beach five miles away.

Each of the bedrooms have queen size beds. Linens and towels for indoor use are included. You will need to bring beach towels and chairs. The living room is a giant open room and great for families to relax. The dining room table will seat 8.

There is ample parking in front of the home and a waterway access at the end of the street.

Internet is supplied. Our internet is password protected and will be given the password with the key code on the day of your reservation. Internet providing by FOCUS. We have a SMART TV.

About the Area

Located in Supply, Fishing/ Beach Getaway is near the beach. Lockwood Folly Country Club and River's Edge Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Magic Mountain Fun Park and Planet Fun. Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to visit & When to book:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. Booking in Fall or Spring is a great way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group.
  • Booking websites frequently offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses.   • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable visitors bothering your quiet neighborhood. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your rental home while you are out and about. Protect your property!
  • Upon check-out, take a final walk-through to confirm you haven't leave anything behind. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property a final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a terrific vacation? Most rental home management companies make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your property and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
