How to get the best Brunswick area vacation home experience:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • The sooner your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your vacation property six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • June, July, and August are high season in the Brunswick area area. To find the best value, consider changing your family's Brunswick area vacation to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer excellent weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Look for your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, travel guide magazines contain coupons for local tours, shops, and attractions.

Narrow your Search:

  • Start by choosing your vacation dates and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Heart of Downtown - Front\/Market Street has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is generally available online. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property owner before reserving the home. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches. You will need to determine what is right for your vacation group.
  • If your family is bringing pets, search for a pet-friendly rental. Get specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Note that some hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's a specific Brunswick area attraction you love, search for properties that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. .

More tips for your visit:

  • Put the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home while you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • To make certain damages aren't linked to your family's stay, record any problem areas when you arrive. Speak to the rental manager right away to relay your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. You will increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a fantastic source for finding the best local spots.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Double-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed everything at departure. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, remember to take photos and video of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a wonderful time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property management company was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
