How to book the best Wrightsville Beach rental experience:

When to go & When to book:

  • Book your rental in Fall or Spring months to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Booking websites typically offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Brunswick area area visitor guides which include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Brunswick area visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

How to choose the perfect rental home in Wrightsville Beach:

  • Choose a group leader, select your vacation dates, and choose a spending budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Cordgrass Bay 2315-E has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is commonly accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, email or call the host before reserving the vacation home. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to work out what is right for your vacation group.
  • If there's a particular Brunswick area destination you are enamored with, keep an eye out for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking.
  • Some rentals allow pets, but some do not. Acceptable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the owner about pets before booking.

Additional considerations:

  • Get the property manager's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property.
  • Make a record of any issues with the property upon arrival, and immediately send them to the host. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are beneficial if a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call prevents many concerns.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors disrupting your peace and quiet. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and places you would have not otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • At departure, complete a walk-through to confirm you did not forget any personal items. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a fantastic stay? Most rental home management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or host was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
