From the front porch swing to the repurposed sewing machine vanity this infant blue bungalow is packed with appeal and comfort. As much as you may want to relax in the backyard all day, I highly recommend exploring the area. Within a half-mile radius you will find impressive historic homes, 2 county parks and many local eateries, bottle stores, and a local distillery which offers live music on the weekends. For the calming evenings in there is a grocery store less than a mile away and the kitchen has all of the cooking silverware you will need. Feel complimentary to listen to a vinyl in the collection on the record player, or you can visit Gravity Records just down the road to find your own gem. Also close by are vintage thrift stores, the Downtown Riverwalk, and Independence Mall. Of course, it would be an injustice not to mention that the beach only a 15 min. commute. This home is ideal for an entertainment packed vacation, or a peaceful home away from home. Cleanliness and comfort is our top priority. Fresh linens, towels, and furnishings covers will be included with every stay.

• Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
• Property management companies frequently offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. • At departure, complete a final walk-through to confirm you didn't forget any personal items. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Inspect the property one final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
