The interior is dark and cluttered, but cozy, with a collection of hodge-podge tables and couches for patrons who want to gather around the hookah or a round of cold beers. (There are 150 varieties of beer to choose from, too.) The café menu is a collection of global cuisine, which includes hummus, wraps, quesadillas, and a big array of gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, like the classic with cheddar, bacon, and tomato, or the Philly with sautéed peppers and onions, and creamy horseradish sauce. With a regular line-up of local acoustic artists, bands, and even live belly dancing, Juggling Gypsy Café is where Wilmington’s hip young and young-at-heart crowd go to dive into a completely eclectic Happy Hour, munchie, or late night experience.
