With a view that immediately brings you tranquility, "A Shore Thing" is a delightfully themed, first floor, corner unit in the Salty Hammocks condominiums that accepts you to savor every aspect of a home away from home. Sit on the deck and bask in the salt air, crashing waves, and ocean breeze.

The open living room and kitchen area provides a comfortable ambiance for family and friends to spend time together. A modern kitchen with all the essentials gives you just what you need to make your favorite home-cooked meals. There are two bedrooms (one with a Queen and one with two Twins), two baths, and cozy living room area. It has a nice sized deck to appreciate your view of the ocean including a spectacular sunrise.

Salty Hammocks is an oceanfront condominium building with private beach access, and a roomy oceanside pool.

While visiting "A Shore Thing" in Carolina Beach during the summer, make sure to visit the Boardwalk, it has fun for all ages, or take in a Movie at the Lake on Sunday evenings and no one should go home without trying Britt's Donuts, it's located on the Boardwalk. The NC Aquarium at close by Kure Beach is open all year, the kids especially enjoy the touching pond so make your plans today to visit Carolina Beach.

*Please keep in mind that if you are renting a property with a pool during the off-season, it may not be open or available. Pools are usually open from mid- May to September, but dates can vary based on weather, permits, HOA guidelines, inspections, improvements, and unforeseen events. Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some hosts offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if discounts are available for your group before you book.

  • Re-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
