Our top Brunswick area vacation rental booking tips and tricks:
Finding the best rental value:
- The sooner your group can book, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are reserved early. Reserving your vacation property six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
- Summer months are high season in the Brunswick area area. To book the most suitable vacation home within budget, we suggest reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at Brunswick area restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.
- Property management companies frequently offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
- Look for your local Brunswick area visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local articles, travel guides have deals for local accommodations, tours and attractions.
Choosing the perfect rental home in the Brunswick area area:
- First, have your group decide on trip dates and a spending budget.
- Note the number beds and the bed configuration your family requires. 6BR\/5BA Home - 2nd Row,Ocean Views,Events,Pool,Elevator, Sleeps 18 has 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Brunswick area rentals search.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is generally available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, contact the property management company before you reserve the property. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds.
- If your group is vacationing with pets, search for a pet-friendly property. Request information on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Note that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
- Looking for special amenities? Most rental websites include search filters with amenity lists.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking.
During your stay:
- We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, elevator or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents quite a few concerns.
- Keep your rental home locked while you are out! Don't let thieves ruin your trip.
- To make sure no damages are attributed to your family's visit, inspect for any problem areas during arrival. Make contact with the rental manager right away to document any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be useful.
- Be respectful. Often times, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Re-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did your group have a excellent time? Most rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or host was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
