Booking the best Brunswick area vacation property experience:

When to go & When to reserve a Brunswick area rental home:

  • The sooner you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved very early. Booking your rental home six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
  • To get the best value, try shifting your family's Brunswick area vacation dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer warm weather, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies frequently offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Often, management companies supply Brunswick area area visitor guides which will include special offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

How to select the perfect rental home in the Brunswick area area:

  • Select a group lead, choose your vacation week, and choose a maximum budget.
  • Note the number beds and the configuration your family needs. Beautiful Oceanfront home, 6 bedrooms 5 1\/2 baths, Private Oceanfront Pool has 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is often accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property management company before reserving your home. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, filter your search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Usually, property managers charge additional pet fees.
  • Are you looking for particular amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking

More considerations:

  • Add the owner's information to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, intercom or coffee maker. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call prevents lots of issues.
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home when you are away, just like you would at home.
  • At Check-in, document any damages to the property and immediately alert the owner. Record all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Respect your neighbors. Often times, adjacent homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a terrific stay? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental and/or host was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
