There are many local activities available in the summer. The Carolina Beach Boardwalk offers carnival rides as well as many interesting stores and eateries. Get some sun as you pedal leisurely around Carolina Beach Lake in a single or double paddle boat, or pick up speed in a barracuda bicycle or a kayak. The Lake park also includes a weekly farmers market on Saturdays. There's also Movies-at-the-lake and fireworks at the close by fishing pier. You are also just a short drive to Fort Fisher for NC Aquarium, a Civil War Museum, and Recreation Area.

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in Carolina Beach. Booking in Fall or Spring months is our best tip for saving money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties.
