There are many local activities available in the summer. The Carolina Beach Boardwalk offers carnival rides as well as many interesting stores and eateries. Get some sun as you pedal leisurely around Carolina Beach Lake in a single or double paddle boat, or pick up speed in a barracuda bicycle or a kayak. The Lake park also includes a weekly farmers market on Saturdays. There's also Movies-at-the-lake and fireworks at the close by fishing pier. You are also just a short drive to Fort Fisher for NC Aquarium, a Civil War Museum, and Recreation Area.

  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are high season in the Brunswick area area. To get the best rental for your budget, we recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Brunswick area attractions. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
