As you enter the front door, you are greeted by a vast screened-in porch furnished with a huge table and plenty of seating- great for meals or to savor your morning coffee/afternoon drink. Continue to the inside of the home and you will find an open concept boasting a comfortable upsized couch and loveseat with a attractively appointed, refreshed kitchen outfitted with all new appliances and countertops. The home has two sets of Twin bunk beds in one room, a Queen in another, and a King bedroom with an attached Master Bathroom. After a day at the beach come back, clean off in the hot/cold outdoor shower, and relax. The back of the home has a freshly created screened-in game room area complete with a ping pong table, darts, an outdoor refrigerator, microwave, and bar seating for 4. The backyard offers privacy and there is plenty of space to play a game of Cornhole, Bocce, croquet, or just toss the ball around. Additionally, the back of the home offers a great deck with table and chairs. We know you want to relax without any stops at the store when you get to the island. To get you started we provide a welcome kit that includes trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher pod, washing machine pod, dishwashing soap, hand soap at every sink, bath soap, and shampoo/conditioner.

As you will find when selecting dates on the calendar, there are minimum stay requirements based on the season. There is a 7 nighttime minimum with a mandatory Saturday to Saturday rental pattern in the peak summer months, and there is more flexibility in the slower seasons. Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Smith Island Museum of History and Franklin Square Gallery are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport. Finding your best deal:

  • To find the best value, consider changing your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer warm weather, , and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.   • Record a video to document the condition of the property.

If your property and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear it.
