Oh Happy Day is a beach bungalow with decorator touches and no detail forgotten making this a very special vacation home. This home features a coastal appeal with an open floor plan. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, ceiling fan, and intelligent TV. A completely outfitted kitchen and an eight-foot dining table are ideal for enormous family meals and gatherings.

Outside you will find covered front and back porches, rocking chairs, rope swings, a picnic table, lounge chairs, and a saltwater pool! Of course, there's a heated outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand after a long day at the beach. There is even a bocce ball court on the side of the home so you can end the day with a friendly and fun challenge! Don't miss out on this striking island hideaway with vistas of the ocean across the street! The beach access is to the East of the home at 1017 OBW. This pool may be heated from September - May for an additional $500 fee per week. Please note that under optimal conditions, the pool can be heated 10 degrees above the outside temperature/max. of 87°F. Located in Holden Beach, this vacation home is near the beach. When to book & When to go:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Booking your vacation rental in the Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
  • The earlier you can book, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved early. Reserving your rental 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers frequently offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses.   • Inspect the property one final time and look for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
