Sit on the screened porch with your morning cup of coffee and appreciate the ideal hideaway spot to really rest; soak in the calming sounds of nature and relax in the salty breeze. Watch graceful egrets and herons as they feed in the shallows, marvel as prehistoric-looking pelicans soar overhead and even spot playful dolphins frolicking in the warm waters.

Keeping the original period of the building intact, this property has modern day features that blend with vintage appeal. Upstairs is the main living area, with additional-enormous wall-to-wall windows to showcase the natural landscape of the coastal Carolina environment. The roomy and well supplied kitchen has everything you need to prepare fresh seafood, whether caught from your very own dock or purchased at one of the local markets.

The master bedroom is furnished with a king bed and a huge wall-mounted flat screen TV. There is an attached private half bath for your convenience. The main bath is shared and has a standard tub/shower combo with sliding door.

The second bedroom features a queen bed and a modest flat screen TV, and the final bedroom has two double beds and a sizable wall-mounted flat screen TV.

The ground floor provides plenty of additional space for entertaining with two separate seating areas, each with their own TV, and a wet bar. A double futon is available for additional sleeping space, and a full-sized bathroom adds to the convenience of this space. The laundry facilities are also located on this level.

On the back of the ground level is a screened patio area to be able to enjoy the coastal landscape and avoid pesky bugs. An additional dining table accepts for dining al fresco. Or let your dog roam in the three-sided fenced-in yard while you relax on the shaded upper deck watching boats coast by on the Intercoastal Waterway. There is an enclosed outdoor shower with a dressing area that makes rinsing sand off after a trip to the beach painless and convenient.

Strategies for getting the best Brunswick area vacation rental experience:

Getting the best rental value:

  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • To find the best value, consider changing your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer warmer weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites usually offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Look for your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great articles, visitor guide magazines contain deals for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Filter your search:

  • Start by selecting a vacation week and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your family requires. Yacht View: Serene, Dog-friendly Home on Intracoastal Waterway has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is almost always accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property management company before you reserve the vacation home. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches. You'll need to establish what is optimal for your vacation group.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Pet fees or charges might be applied to your invoice.
  • Does your group require special amenities? Most rental websites include search filters for amenities.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. .

More tips for your stay:

  • Add the owner's phone number to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Property managers are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're away! Don't let thieves ruin your trip.
  • Record any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be very helpful if there is a dispute.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be a fantastic source for finding the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Upon check-out, take a final walk-through to make sure you didn't forget any personal items. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent ratings to inspire future reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
