"A Great Escape" is a gorgeously decorated 3 bedroom/3 full bathroom bungalow with a peaceful island location and accessories that are ideal for families.

A roomy floor plan features open living/dining space with an assortment of books, videos, and board games. A den on the first floor with a sleeper couch and sliding barn door for privacy. A bright, cheerful sunroom is located off of the main living area and overlooks the maritime forest. Substantial front porch for those just wanting to sit and relax.

Cable TV and Internet Service with a strong WiFi signal. Enormous flat screen TVs in all rooms

Access included to the Ibis Roost community pool, which can only be used by Ibis Roost families and their guests (30 homes) and is just a 1 min. walk away. Bald Head Island Club Lifestyle Membership is available separately (use of the pool, playground, kids's spray ground, eateries, exercise center, golf, tennis, croquet (for a fee).

About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is near the beach. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James. North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport and Bald Head Island Information Center are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to reserve a Brunswick area rental & When to go:

• Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To book the largest rental for your budget, we suggest booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Brunswick area restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
