BHI is home to the oldest Lighthouses in North Carolina. There are many nature hikes, wildlife watches, beach accesses, stores, eateries, & activities. BHI Activities:-Rent bicycles at Coastal Urge or Riverside Adventure Company. -Rent a stand up paddle board from Coastal Urge as well! -Climb Old Baldy Lighthouse!-Go on a historic island tour from the Old Baldy Foundation. -Take a ghost walk, sail, surf, or kayak with the Sail Shop. -Take a hike on the many trails. -For a guided hike, guided kayak, or guided canoe trip visit the Bald Head Island Conservancy.
