When to book & When to go:

• Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• June, July, and August are high season in the Brunswick area area. Book your vacation in Fall or Spring months to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
• Property managers sometimes offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
• Booking websites frequently offer renters an option to buy trip insurance. • To make sure no damages are linked to your visit, make note of any problem areas upon check in. message the rental manager immediately to report any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
• Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often times, adjacent homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
• Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
• Just prior to departing, complete a final walk-through to confirm you haven't forget anything. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
• Did your family have a great time? Many rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
