A 2 min. golf cart ride from The Shoals Club, this 3 bedroom 3 bath home has been freshly refreshed & is completely supplied! Downstairs has 2 bedrooms (1 queen, 2 twins) and 2 full baths. Upstairs is the kitchen, living room, and master with another full bath. Just down the street from Commons Park, and with a private dock in the community leading to marsh access for fishing & crabbing, this is the ideal place for a peaceful hideaway on Bald Head Island! A 6 passenger golf cart is included in the rental, and a temporary membership to The BHI Club & Shoals Club is available for separate purchase to savor private pool access, dining, and handsome East Beach! Go “Off the Grid” for your next vacation to BHI!

Cape Fear Station, a neighborhood in Bald Head Island, is home to this vacation home. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Caswell Beach, while Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights. Get the most from your vacation rental budget:

  • The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked early. Reserving your vacation property six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season in Bald Head Island. To find the best value, consider shifting your group's trip dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer warm weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family.
  • Property management companies frequently offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches. You will need to establish what configuration is best for your vacation.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Extra fees or costs could be applied to your invoice.
  • If there's an individual Brunswick area beach you are enamored with, look for homes that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your desires.

  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the host isn't available, take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Property managers rely on good ratings to compel future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
