Come and savor this freshly modernized 3-bedroom 3.5 bath home located in Bald Head's Maritime Forest. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and the back screened in porch has plenty of space for dining or appreciating the wildlife vistas on the couch. The downstairs has the living area and kitchen which comes equipped with new appliances and a enormous island with bar seating space. The master bedroom with a king bed is downstairs with a connected bathroom that has a double sink, soak in tub, and a separate stand-up shower. Upstairs has another master with a king bed and connected bathroom with a standalone shower. The other bedroom is ideal for the kids! It has 2 sets of bunk beds (4 twins) with its own bathroom that has a shower/tub combo. Being in the heart of the island, this space is ideal for proximity to all the amenities on Bald Head.

About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is near the beach. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James. North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport and Bald Head Island Information Center are also worth visiting. With surfing/body boarding, fishing, and swimming nearby, you'll find plenty of adventures in the water.

• Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Summertime is the most expensive season in Bald Head Island. To get the largest rental for your budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Brunswick area attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
• Some owners offer discounts for veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your group before you book.
• Property managers usually offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.
