Tips to get the very best Brunswick area vacation rental experience:

Finding the best rental value:

  • The sooner your group can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The best properties are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation rental six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
  • To book the most suitable vacation home for your budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at Brunswick area restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Property managers sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies frequently offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Often, rental management companies supply Brunswick area area visitor guides that include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Brunswick area visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

How to choose the perfect rental in the Brunswick area area:

  • Choose a designated group leader, select your dates, and choose a budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. Ultimate Beach Getaway in Beautiful Home with heated pool option! has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is generally accessible on booking pages. If not, email the property management company before you book the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to determine which bed configuration is best for your family.
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or costs may be applied to your invoice.
  • If there's a certain Brunswick area destination you are enamored with, browse properties that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. .

More considerations:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Add a note with the instructions to your smartphone, and take a printed copy.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, television set or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call prevents lots of concerns.
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • To make certain that no damages are attributed to your family's visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas during arrival. E-mail the property manager right away to relay any damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Be respectful. Often times, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Double-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at departure. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave a review! Hosts rely on great reviews to drive new bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will will be grateful for your experience find their best vacation rental. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
