Getting the best Carolina Beach rental experience:

Money saving strategies:

  • June, July, and August are high season in Carolina Beach. To get the best value, shift your family's Brunswick area vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer pleasant temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • The sooner your group can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are booked early. Booking your rental home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Booking websites often offer renters an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Brunswick area area travel guides that include coupons, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Brunswick area area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Choosing the perfect vacation home:

  • Begin by choosing your trip dates and a spending budget.
  • Note the number beds and the configuration your group requires. The Beach House - Oceanfront home with Private beach Access few blocks from has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly accessible online. If they are not listed, reach out to the property manager before you reserve the rental. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds.
  • If there's a particular Brunswick area beach you long to visit, keep an eye out for homes that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • Some properties allow pets, and others do not. Allowable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the property management company about pet restrictions before booking.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Be sure you get the owner's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your . Put the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • Record any issues with the property at check in, and immediately contact the owner. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are beneficial if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a great resource to find the best local beaches and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your rental home while you are away. Protect your property!
  • On check-out day, complete a final walk-through to confirm you did not forget any personal items. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent ratings to stimulate future bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
