4 Bedrooms, 4 baths Home is charismatic and appealingly located on Southern side of Oak Island to provide a direct beach access. The home has a roomy living room, kitchen and bedrooms each with their own private bath. Savor the tank-less hot water heater, metal roof and exterior trek floor. There are hardwoods and tile with granite counter-tops on the cabinets.
The island has boat launches, a golf course, eateries, put-put golf, kayak and golf cart units, picnic areas, trails, skateboard park, splash pad park, shopping and plenty of access to the beach front for building sand castles and calming in the sun. Don't forget about the closeness to the Oak Island Bridge and Southport. You will want to spend some of your time here exploring the very cozy town of Southport.
If Golf is on your agenda, we can take care of that as well. With many top courses very close by, these courses will challenge even the scratch golfers. We look forward to having you visit us here for you to have a vacation to remember.
Once in Southport, you can take a Ferry either to charming Bald Head Island for a day trip or a Ferry to Ft. Fisher and visit the aquarium. The North Carolina Battleship is a favorite destination in close by downtown Wilmington and Myrtle Beach is just South for even more to do.

Our top Brunswick area rental booking tips:
Get the most from your budget:
- Summertime is the most expensive season in coastal NC. To get the best value, consider changing your trip dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer warmer temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Some owners offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
- Property managers typically offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
- Look for your local Brunswick area area magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, travel guides contain coupons for nearby tours, shops, and attractions.
Planning and choosing the rightvacation home:
- Choose your vacation week and budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. Spacious 4BR\/4.5BA Home-Beautifully Decorated-Multiple Porches-Sleeps 8 has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Brunswick area rentals search.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly accessible on booking websites. If not, email the property manager before you reserve the home. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds.
- If there's a specific Brunswick area beach you long to visit, look for homes that are either close by, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
- Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or costs could be applied to your contract.
Advice for a fantastic stay:
- Take a copy of the property manager's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property.
- Document any damages to the rental upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are very helpful if there is a dispute.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents quite a few issues.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be an incredible source for finding the best local scenic spots.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental when you are away, just like you would at home.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected everything. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Leave feedback! Property managers rely on great feedback to stimulate more reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will will be grateful for your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
