Our preferred change over day is Saturday. See attached rental agreement for all rental rates for different lengths of stay. All extras like pets (100), wifi (60) or use your own hot, sheets (50) or bring your own (king, double, 2 singles), 2 person kayak (100) can be booked on line or added upon arrival by paying our caretaker directly. Located in Ocean Isle Beach, this cottage is on the waterfront. When to visit & When to book:

  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer is high season in the Brunswick area area. To find the best value, try changing your family's Brunswick area vacation dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic.

Have a wonderful stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your phone.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, stereo or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents lots of problems.
  • Lock your rental home while you're away. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Make a record of any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately send them to the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be helpful if there is a dispute.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful vacationers disrupting your peaceful neighborhood. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would have never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Upon check-out, take a final walk-through to confirm you haven't forget anything. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to compel more bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your experience find their best rental home. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
