This freshly refreshed, designer inspired hideaway on the top floor with sizable deck out front is the ideal setting to watch the dolphins play. Tiki bar and pier out over the ocean is directly across the street. We are also just a few short miles from the downtown Wilmington river walk which was just voted 2nd best in the USA! Finest view of the fireworks every Thursday nighttime. Granite counter tops with top of the line stainless appliances for your dining enjoyment. Pure water dispenser for drinking and cooking. Flat screen intelligent TV's with and leather recliners for relaxation after a day of swimming. King size bed in master size bedroom with queen sleeper in living area. Full size bed in the sleep alcove. Everything you need is supplied including linens and towels. A deck off the master for viewing the marsh and sunsets. Unwind poolside in our brand new pool and deck area. The new deck is made from composite decking so there are no more splinters or nails to worry about, and the sunsets over the marsh are impressive. Outdoor grilles included for your BBQ pleasure! Just steps from the intracoastal waterway where you can launch a kayak or fish, and right across the street from the pier where fishing for king mackerel or grouper is striking! Surfing is also allowed in the zone north of the pier and the waves can be challenging for the most experienced of surfers. Live music at the boardwalk nearly every nighttime with arcades and rides to keep the younger visitors busy while Mom and Dad can appreciate the local flavors, including the local brews from our many close by craft breweries. Renting a street legal golf cart, you can discover all the beach has to offer at a leisurely pace, or you can rent a 4 wheel drive Jeep to discover some of the last sandy beaches on the entire East coast accepting motorized cars. I also offer complimentary boat parking should you bring one. Visit the state park and discover the only area in the world where Venus flytraps grow in their natural habitat, along with other species of carnivorous plants. Carolina Beach has been voted one of the top 10 beaches in the USA which should be ample reason to come and stay here so you can see for yourself and agree. During peak season, only weekly reservations from Saturday to Saturday, and 5 day stays are also accepted between Saturday to Saturday in order to insure a full week for everybody. Clean water, smooth white sandy beaches are the reasons why I live here too.

Our top Rental home booking tips:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Carolina Beach. To find the best value, try changing your trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer pleasant temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • The sooner you can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best properties are booked very early. Booking your rental home up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group.
  • Property managers often offer guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local Brunswick area visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, travel guides contain money saving offers on local shops and restaurants.

Planning, picking, and booking the bestvacation home:

  • Begin by choosing vacation dates and a max budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your family needs. Luxury Top Floor Condo With Panoramic Ocean Views has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly available on booking websites. Otherwise, email the property owner before reserving the property. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to establish what bed configuration is optimal for your vacation group.
  • Visiting for a specific event? Use a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you must book a pet-friendly vacation rental. Ask for details on breed, size, and type requirements. Some property owners charge pet deposits and fees.

Have a wonderful stay:

  • Add the property manager's contact info to your smartphone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Upon arrival, note any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the host. Record all coorespondence.
  • Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers disrupting your peace. Apply the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and attractions you would have never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home when you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Re-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed everything at check-out. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a terrific stay? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches. See for yourself by scanning the QR code and call Victory Beach Vacations at 910.458.0868 to book your Cape Fear getaway. Start making your memories today! —Grace Silipigni
