Just steps to the beach through your own private walkway. The Mermaids Retreat is located roughly 15-20 walking distance to the pier and only about 5-10 mins. from the boardwalk. The condo features two bedrooms with one queen sized bed in the master bedroom and 2 twin sized beds in the second bedroom. Totally equipped kitchen and washer & dryer available. Private parking.

Find your perfect rental:

  • In the Brunswick area area, The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are booked very early. Reserving your rental home six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • Summertime is high season in Carolina Beach. Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring is a great way to save money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property managers usually offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local Brunswick area area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guides contain deals for local shops and restaurants.

  • Inspect the property one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a great time? Many rental management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property management company was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
