Tips and Tricks to get the very best Brunswick area vacation rental experience:

When to reserve a Brunswick area rental home & When to go:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Holden Beach. Reserve your Brunswick area vacation in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • The earlier you can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved early. Booking your rental property six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Brunswick area area visitor guides which will include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

How to pick the best rental home:

  • Select a designated group leader, select your vacation week, and choose a budget.
  • Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Ocean Front & Sound Front Paradise- Heaven on Earth! has 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is normally accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, contact the property owner before you book your home. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to determine what is right for your vacation group.
  • Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? If so, use a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking.
  • If your group is traveling with pets, filter your search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Make sure to ask for information on breed, size, and type requirements. Often, hosts charge additional pet fees.

Tips for your stay:

  • Add the property manager's contact information to your smartphone. Print and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • To make sure no damages are linked to your stay, note any problem areas during check in. message the rental manager right away to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents a lot of difficulties.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Often, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Protect the property owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are away, just like you would back home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal items. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on great ratings to propel new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
