Booking the best Brunswick area rental experience:

When to book & When to go:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • To find the largest vacation home for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at Brunswick area restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property management companies frequently offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Look for your local Brunswick area visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local articles, visitor guides have money saving offers on nearby accommodations, tours and attractions.

Choosing the perfect rental in the Brunswick area area:

  • Select a group lead, choose your vacation week, and choose a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the configuration your group needs. New! Oceanfront Beach Bungalow has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed types is regularly available online. If not, email or call the property owner before you reserve your home. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to establish what configuration is best for your vacation.
  • Some rentals allow pets, and some do not. Allowable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the host about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
  • Is your family looking for particular amenities? Most websites include search filters with amenity lists. Use these to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

Know before you go:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your phone.
  • Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're away! Don't let crooks spoil your holiday.
  • To ensure that damages aren't linked to your stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon your arrival. text the property manager immediately to document any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers bothering your quiet neighborhood. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would have never otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • At departure, take a walk-through to confirm you didn't forget any personal items. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your family have a terrific stay? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
