Tricks and tips to get the perfect Brunswick area vacation home experience:

Getting the most from your rental budget:

  • To find the best value, consider shifting your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer warm weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic.
  • The sooner you can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked very early. Reserving your rental home six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your family qualifies for a discount.
  • Booking websites often offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Often, management companies supply Brunswick area area visitors guides which will include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Brunswick area visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

How to select the perfect rental home in Holden Beach:

  • Select a group lead, choose your dates, and choose a max budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Smoke Free Custom Beach Home 2nd Row 5-Bedrooms\/ 5.5 Bathrooms Elevator & Pool has 5 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is commonly available on booking pages. If they are not listed, email or call the host before you book your rental. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds. You will need to work out what configuration is best for your group.
  • If there's an individual Brunswick area destination you simply love, keep an eye out for homes that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Pet fees or charges applied to your invoice.

Have a wonderful stay:

  • Add the property manager's contact information to your phone. Understand and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • To make certain damages aren't linked to your family's visit, record any problem areas upon check in. message the host right away to relay your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often times, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home while you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • At departure, take a walk-through to confirm you did not forget anything. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and look for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the host isn't available, take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a excellent vacation? Most rental home management companies make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your property and/or host was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
