There is a garage that stores one of the golf carts, beach amenities, and a full size washer and dryer. All Timbercreek buildings consist of two properties. The A unit is the top floor, the B unit is the middle floor and the garages are on the base floor. The buildings are gorgeously spaced apart so you can appreciate sitting on the outdoor screened in porch. We have comfortable patio seating for 6-7 guests.

Tips and Tricks to get the perfect Bald Head Island vacation home experience:

When to visit & When to book:

  • In the Brunswick area area, The earlier you can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The best properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental property 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Bald Head Island. To find the best value, try shifting your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer warm weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Many rental management companies supply Brunswick area area visitor guide magazines that include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Brunswick area visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Finding the best rental:

  • Choose your dates and maximum budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Marsh Madness at Timbercreek 18A, Beautiful Creek Views, pool and creek access has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property management company before you book the vacation property. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • Some properties allow pets, but others do not. Acceptable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the host about your furry family members before booking.
  • If there's a particular Brunswick area destination you love, browse rentals that are either near by, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking

Tips to have a great stay:

  • Get the host's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental home.
  • Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Lock your vacation home while you're out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Make a record of any issues with the property at check in, and immediately contact the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be very helpful if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be an incredible source for finding the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Just prior to departing, take a walk-through to confirm you did not forget any personal items. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the host whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave a review! Property owners rely on excellent feedback to compel future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will appreciate that you share your review find their best rental home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
