"2 Buoys" is marsh front living at its best! We are located off the beaten path located in Palmetto Cove. House was finished in 2015. Our home is located right on the marsh with pretty sun rises! Our community offers a private dock and is ideal for crabbing, paddle boarding or kayaking. We have an open floor plan downstairs with an fresh kitchen. There are two master king suites. One being upstairs and the other downstairs. There are two other bedrooms upstairs including a queen and also a bunk room(4 twins). Outside there is a separate crofter with a king bed and bathroom.

SMOKING: Smoking is NOT allowed in any BHI Services, Inc Property. Smoking is allowed outside as long as butts and ashes are not left behind. Discard the butts and ashes in the outside garbage. Do not throw butts on the ground or bring them into the rental. If there is any tobacco odor in the home after your departure, there will be a minimum $250 charge. Oil lamps and incense are not allowed due to the long-lasting odor. If these policies are violated, there will be a charge for excessive cleaning.
CONDUCT OF GUESTS: The rental is not intended for events, nor gatherings at any time of anyone except those who have paid to occupy the property. Exceptions are made on an individual basis - please contact BHI Services, Inc for prior approval. How to get the best rental value:

  • The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
  • Summertime is the most expensive season in coastal NC. Booking your Brunswick area vacation home in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Some owners offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your family.
  • Property managers frequently offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Many property management companies supply Brunswick area area visitor guide magazines which include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship with the property management company and the business itself.   • Specific information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is often available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property manager before booking the rental. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches. You will need to establish what configuration is best for your vacation family.
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Pet fees or charges may be applied to your invoice.
  • Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? If so, use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental

Have a wonderful stay:

  • Add the host's phone number to your phone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, intercom or coffee maker. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few problems.
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home while you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Make a record of any damages to the property during check in, and immediately contact the owner. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be helpful if there is a dispute.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors disrupting your peaceful home life. Practice the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Re-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed everything at departure. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property one final time and look for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, take pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on good reviews to drive more bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
